The photovoltaic system that makes Nova Systems’ server farm completely power-independent is now in full capacity. We refer to the beating heart of the company, the hub of all the activities, the element that guarantees the operation of the IT services for customers all over the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Making the entire data center completely autonomous means taking a significant step towards implementing the Green Logistics project started by Nova Systems, titled “Nova Green”.
The activation of the photovoltaic system installed on the company’s roof allows Nova Systems to save an estimated 14 tons of CO2 each year. Any extra energy produced, which is not necessary to satisfy the company’s needs, is fed back into the public electricity network for the citizens’ needs.
Turning to renewable energy sources is part of the wider Nova Green project, in which the company is involved on several fronts with the aim of combining digitalization and sustainability.
While the BeOne management software has actually become a benchmark for the Green Computing in the world of logistics operators and freight forwarders, the company also continues to contribute on the territory with its “Green City” initiative. The trees, indeed, donated by the company after the signing of new contracts were recently planted in the green areas of San Martino Buon Albergo, Verona. A joint action between Nova Systems and the new customers for an important purpose.
