Nova Systems has once again been ahead of its time and released the new ‘Authorised Consignees’ module on the market. Customs Agency regulations require that the service, which until recently was managed through software provided by ADM, is now developed by specialised IT providers. Nova Systems has taken the chance to further enrich the BeOne Global Suite with the feature that allows export, transit, and authorised consignee declarations to be sent in the newly re-engineered mode.
The ‘Authorised Consignees’ application enables the economic operator with ‘Authorised Consignee’ status to interface electronically with the customs office of destination to complete transit operations at destination under a simplified procedure.
The software, through a quite simple and intuitive interface, allows the necessary transit clearance formalities to be carried out, such as:
- the transmission of the arrival notification (with any Incident Reports found on arrival);
- the receipt of the discharge permit;
- the sending of the unloading result, also reporting any discrepancies found at unloading;
- the receipt of the notification of shipment at destination.
BeOne Global takes care of signing and sending the messages in a completely transparent way for the user and constantly monitors changes in the status of the MRNs being managed by constantly communicating with the ADM systems. The ‘Authorised Consignees’ module allows the simultaneous management of several MRNs in transit, arriving at different depots, either one’s own or those of third parties, centralising everything in a single management system with clear and fast consultation.
The new module enriches the suite of customs products, consisting of the modules Customs Export, Import and Customs Warehouses, which can easily and quickly dialogue with all the other TMS operational modules, as well as with the WMS and accounting. The total integration allows the creation of customs operations from shipments or loading lists and warehouse movements, with the possibility of managing customs deferment, invoicing of customs duties, as well as coordinating the customs department with the costs and revenues resulting from the operations. This simplifies and makes direct contact with the customs agency and customs management of files clearer.
